Terry Banks is the visionary founder of The Pearl Alliance, a firm dedicated to connecting businesses with government and community stakeholders. With over 25 years of experience in transportation management and a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, Terry has a proven leadership and advocacy track record. As a former MTA veteran, he oversaw transportation for over 200,000 daily passengers in major New York locations. Terry has been recognized as Leader of the Year for his outstanding contributions and has actively served on community boards and civil rights committees.

  • MTA Leadership: Managed safety and operational efficiencies at major New York locations, including the World Trade Center and Times Square, overseeing transportation for over 200,000 daily passengers.

     

    Advocacy for Equity: Legislative Chair for the NY chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), advocating for equity and equality in transportation.

    Prestigious Recognitions: Awarded Leader of the Year for outstanding transportation and community service contributions.

     

    Community Service: Active involvement in local community boards and civil rights committees, including co-chair roles in Youth and Education and Civil Rights and Social Action.

     

    Founding The Pearl Alliance: Launched his consultancy firm focusing on government relations and community relations and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across sectors.
